Here's a popular children's song. I find that most children like to sing (and dance too!). Music can enhance their social development and social skills apart from creating opportunities for aesthetic and creative development. "Music can draw the shy, withdrawn child into a group, and encourage all to come into closer contact with their peers and support social relationship" (Spodek, Saracho, and Lee, 1983).
