Thorny plant growing at the jungle bed

I've just came back from jungle trekking two days ago. It was a tiring but  FUN trip. I hope to go there again soon. Anyway, during the trip I saw some rare plants, strange looking insects and some tortoises playing hide and seek beneath the leaves at the forest bed-and of course lots of blood suckers-mosquitoes (haha!). Fortunately, there weren't any leeches trying to take a free sip of me.Leeches and mosquitoes aside,  I think it'd be wonderful  if we bring along our children (pupils) to such a place in order for them to gain first hand experience and learn to appreciate mother nature as well as to help preserve our environment.
